Went through Down­town. Saw a young dad hold­ing hands with his young son, both dirty from clean­ing. I cried.

This is them.

Couldn’t get their faces, unfor­tu­nately. The kid was smil­ing and happy, even though he had soot on his face.

I will never for­get the sight.
